Amanda Shallcross, ND, naturopathic physician and co-founder of Sid Wiggy’s, has extensively researched and observed from her clinical experience, the shortcomings of soy-based food products and the high glycemic index of soy and rice based frozen desserts.  She and her favorite aunt, Leslie Vogt, started the company in January 2007.  Talk to Amanda

Prior to becoming a frozen dessert magnate, Leslie Vogt conveniently worked at jobs totally unrelated to the natural foods industry. She retired from her job in higher education to open and run a bed and breakfast and event center. She has, however, always been a devotee of natural, healthy eating and would like to see everyone feeling better in their bodies as well as their souls. Talk to Leslie
